0.41.0 · Season of Thorns
Published September 1, 2026.
- Season of Thorns brings Overgrown creatures after eligible deaths of Ettins, Trolls, Frost Trolls, Ogres, Ogre Lords, Cyclopes, and Minotaurs.
- Overgrown participate in normal PvM and can use Overgrown Grasp: roots for 3 seconds and Deadly Poison, without duplicating the original loot.
- Ancient Overgrowth has a 10% chance to carry the bilingual book O Testamento da Primeira Sarça.
- Heart of the Briar is the edition's tradable, lootable currency. The Briarheart Keeper is available during the season and for 7 days after its natural end.
- Briarheart Pigment, Briarstrider, and Thornwake are the top rewards, each redeemable once per account per edition.
- Britain, Minoc, Serpent's Hold, and Cove receive briar decorations that grow during the season and are removed at its end.
- Tailoring gains DoB Cloth: Mantle of the Titan (+5 Strength), Windrunner Robe (+5 Dexterity), and Sage's Robe (+5 Intelligence). Each recipe requires 100 Cloth and 100 of each matching reagent; success runs from 0% at 65.0 to 100% at 105.0.
- Ingots and boards now weigh 0.5 stone per unit.
- Tracking reaches 43 tiles at 100.0 and 45 tiles at 105.0 effective skill, preserving filters and result limits.
- Magical creatures consider their actual Cure chance and may use Mana Drain or Mana Vampire in PvM, preserving protections for players, pets, summons, Arena, and PvP.
- Bankers sell Commodity Deed Box for 20,000 Gold; the box must be secured in a house to operate Commodity Deeds.

0.40.0 · The Red Verdict
Odran rides in Wrong while menus, equipment, and interactions receive improvements.
- Odran, the Red Verdict may emerge in Wrong's deepest corridors beside Seris and four daemonic witnesses. Defeating him releases a tamable Ruby Mustang protected from wild creatures for 60 seconds and awards The Condemned Heart, additional PvM rewards, and chances to find his Portuguese or English lore book and The Ruby Judgment scythe.
- Odran now maintains an even faster pursuit, prioritizes summons for ordinary attacks, and marks the ground for one second before leaping with Sentence of Silence, repeating the Verdict every 20 to 25 seconds. He escapes Paralyze after five seconds by teleporting out of the field; dodging Sentence opens a three-second recovery and Broken Judgment reports each doubled hit. The witnesses may range farther and prioritize players, while Seris sustains the full group without using Magic Arrow.
- The six eighth-circle Magery summoning spells now use a 2% to 98% success curve that reaches 75% at 100.0 Magery for spellbook casts; scrolls, NPCs, and other spells remain unchanged.
- The new Unbroken Calling Mastery relatively increases the success chance of those summons and can also appear on new PvM jewelry.
- Crafting and Animal Lore menus now correctly replace the previous window, preventing disconnections caused by invisible menu accumulation.
- Each death reduces every equipped item's maximum durability by 1 to 3 points; deaths caused by another member of the same Party or guild do not apply this loss.
- Clothing now has quality-based durability, wears without reducing incoming damage, and can be repaired through Tailoring.
- Fire Field continues to damage every valid target without replacing the caster's selected combat target.
- New PvM Loot Magic Earrings, Magic Bracelets, and Magic Rings now receive a PvM Mastery bonus between +1.00% and +7.50% in 0.25% increments.
- Arcane Disruption now uses the full chance granted by its Mastery level and PvM jewelry without the former dedicated 12.5% cap; its attempt interval and target rules remain unchanged.
- Paralyze cast by an eligible PvM creature ends when its caster dies or is removed, without clearing Paralyze Field, another caster's effect, or player effects.
- Structural house floors no longer block same-storey interactions when they are below the line of sight; walls, doors, storeys, and access rules remain protected.
- Ordinary players can no longer remain ghosts indefinitely: without a choice, they return after five minutes. PvP deaths allow only itemless return, while PvM keeps its existing recovery; newcomer protection remains unchanged.
- Focused Hunter charges now remain active for 90 seconds; each compatible kill refreshes the shared duration of every charge.
- Characters concealed through Hiding or Stealth are now revealed when selecting another skill's target or activating a skill without a target; cancelling the cursor does not reveal, and Snooping retains its own rule.
- Naturally aggressive pets now disappear with all carried items when released; passive or reactive pets remain in the world normally.
- Virtual hair, beards, and moustaches no longer appear as loot in player-corpse Grid Containers; real equipment and items remain unchanged.
- Creatures marked as rewardless, including reinforcements called by monsters, no longer grant XP, loot, or PvM progress.
0.39.0 · Passive stamina regeneration
Passive stamina recovery for players and the PvP Trainer now follows a more deliberate pace.
- Players and the PvP Trainer now passively recover 1 point every 5 seconds at the 100.0 Focus baseline with no additional regeneration; Focus and existing modifiers continue to adjust the interval.
- Players can now use Recall even above their weight limit; all other Recall restrictions and other travel methods remain unchanged.
- The Bag of Sending now works exclusively for Gold and rejects every other item type.
- Wild Hell Hounds now award loot and XP through the centralized PvM system and count toward Abyss Hunts and Masteries; summoned, tamed, and formerly tamed ones remain rewardless.
- Frenzied, Zostrich, and Forest Ostard statuettes now correctly display the pet's original color without changing the pet or other mounts.
- Daemon Polymorph now temporarily grants 200 STR, 110 DEX, and 150 INT, prevents equipment and attacks against players, can be dispelled, and safely restores character resources when it ends.
- Player Recall can now arrive on a tile occupied by another mobile; terrain, items, regions, multis and all other restrictions remain enforced.
- Creatures no longer loot items from player or creature corpses.
- The two bounded areas north of Minoc are now unguarded on Felucca and Trammel; the rest of the city and mine remains unchanged.
- Authorized players inside private houses are now protected from external harmful actions and cannot attack across the house boundary; public houses remain unchanged.
- Tinkering can now craft Metal Chests from 150 ingots under DoB Containers; the menu follows the selected metal and each chest correctly retains and identifies its material and color.
- Tinkering can now craft Suit of Gold Armor and Suit of Silver Armor deeds from 200 ingots under DoB Deco; Iron keeps the original appearance while other metals apply their own color.
- At the end of each Arena season, unique PvP Trainer, System Loot and Personal Loot champions receive decorative bank trophies named Days of Britannia Arena Trophy; everyone sees the results on first login, and remaining ties have no champion.
- The Huntmaster Challenge has been disabled; existing permits, trophies, and rewards remain preserved.
- NPC guilds have been disabled. Any player may use Stealing against other players without membership; Disguise Kits can no longer be used.
- The first Help page now shows connected characters and the all-time record, including staff; .pvpcamp is no longer listed in that menu.
- The Rare Zostrich Ostard can now spawn correctly when its initial point is unavailable.
- The 'Help me, I'm stuck!' confirmation and countdown now display Portuguese accents correctly.
0.38.0 · Nochyer and skill adjustments
Nochyer awakens northeast of Yew while Gate Travel and Poisoning receive adjustments.
- Gate Travel no longer suffers skill fizzle when the character has 100.0 Magery; interruptions, resources, and travel restrictions remain unchanged.
- The Poisoning skill reuse delay has been reduced from 10 to 4 seconds; application still takes 2 seconds, keeps the same success chance, and preserves the average training pace.
- Daggers, knives, and tools classified as utility items now deal 1 to 3 base damage, including equippable Blacksmithy hammers; the tooltip now shows that value correctly.
- Tailoring SkillCheck no longer shows 0% when no gain roll was performed; in those cases, the message marks the chance as unavailable and explains why.
- SkillCheck now silently ignores any skill that has already reached 100.0 base value; skill behavior and gains remain unchanged.
- Stamina Damage from competitive Macing weapons now removes 80% of the hit's final damage instead of using the previous 1-to-1 ratio.
- Casting a spell while hidden by Hiding or Stealth now reveals the character when the cast begins and shows the Words of Power; Invisibility Spell and Invisibility Potion keep their current behavior.
- Alchemists outside guard protection now maintain a minimum stock of 160 Eyes of Newt and 160 Bat Wings.
- Controlled pets can now be stored and restored with Shrink Potion, preserving the same pet without occupying follower slots.
- Nochyer, the Darkness Beneath may emerge northeast of Yew after long intervals. Its Black Moon strikes a marked area; Night Sight reveals its weakness to light for 60 seconds, with a 15-second minimum activation cooldown and no stacking or refresh; and defeating it awards its Heart of the Black Moon, an exclusive dye, three Tomes of Expertise, one Scroll of Knowledge and one additional Loot Pack roll. Its exceptionally rare Heater Shield of Invulnerability takes the form of the Black Moon Aegis.
- Nochyer now has a minimum of 2,400 hit points, guaranteeing a Legendary Threat classification on every spawn without changing its total 70% bonus.
- A collectible book about Nochyer's origin may appear in its loot with a 10% chance. It uses the Necromancy book appearance, has no effects, and opens an elegant gump in the language selected through .options.
- The Rare Zostrich Ostard has joined the rare mount events. Tamed rare mounts now free their slot for a new wild animal on the next cycle.
- When a PK enters a city's guard protection, everyone receives an anonymous alert identifying the city. Each PK can trigger another alert after five minutes.
- The server now displays a red warning when the client sends actions too quickly, allowing macros to be paused before a possible disconnection.
- When a common or DoB tool wears out during crafting, the system automatically uses the next compatible tool in the backpack, including Make Last and automatic production. Runic and special tools remain excluded.
- New Magic Amulets no longer grant a Wrestling bonus; existing amulets remain unchanged.
- The PvM hunt XP bonus for creatures in the target group has increased from 50% to 75%; stacking, progress, and the kill that completes the contract remain unchanged.
- Newly spawned Centaurs, Treefellows, Satyrs, and Rare Phoenixes now have red notoriety.
- Ensorcelled Armor now belongs to the Abyss group; previously unclassified draconic variants now belong to the Reptilian and Dragon Slaying groups in combat, PvM hunts, and Scrolls of Knowledge.
- Entering War Mode now interrupts active Tracking and reports that the quarry was lost.
- Players no longer reveal hidden characters passively while moving: Detect Hidden remains available through manual activation. Positive physical hits now correctly remove Hiding, Stealth, and invisibility when striking creatures as well.
0.37.0 · Player Vendors in Nujelm
- Employment contracts can place Player Vendors at one of 42 reserved wooden benches in Nujelm, limited to one per account and public IP.
- The vendor remains fixed and protected. Its native daily fee gains a 1,500 Gold surcharge, and the initial three-day reserve is 4,680 Gold when empty.
- Insufficient funds start a 24-hour grace period. If it expires, stock and Gold return to the bank and the account waits seven days before placing another Nujelm vendor.
- Mage, Alchemist, and Docks Alchemist keep at least 160 of every classic reagent after restock; Mage also keeps 160 Blank Scrolls.
- Protected gain starts at 30.0 while a skill is behind its curve, with an eight-active-hour guarantee for fast skills and ten for the others.
.skillcheckseparates success from gain, explains non-training or saturated attempts, and displays protected progress.- Controlled pets and creatures already owned by the same tamer do not grant Animal Taming gains. Herding enters a four-second cooldown when the crook is used.
- Craft menus no longer show recipes and categories removed from Live; existing items and learned recipes remain preserved.
- While a Hunter Contract is incomplete, target-group creatures grant 50% additional PvM Mastery XP, stacking with Young and Daily Dungeon and applying to the final kill.
- Royal Banking Charter I costs 50,000 account Gold and permanently raises the character's bank capacity from 125 to 250 items.
- Hiding and Stealth allow movement during their three-second preparation; you only need to be stationary at the end.
0.36.0 · Tomes of Expertise and PvM gains
- Eligible PvM creatures, except animals, have a 7.5% chance to drop a Tome of Expertise, granting permanent progress in one of the 49 skills.
- High gains are rare; Craft and Harvesting tomes grant at most 1.0.
- Anatomy, Evaluating Intelligence, Fencing, Wrestling, Parrying, and Mace Fighting gain 0.2 when a normal gain is approved in eligible PvM combat.
- Any corpse can repeatedly train Forensic Evaluation from 0.0 to 100.0 while it exists.
- Walking while mounted no longer breaks Stealth; mounted running still reveals.
- Animals, summons, and currently or previously tamed creatures grant no gold, XP, or generated death loot.
- The Starter PvP kit is ordinary and lootable, without jewelry or a potion bag. New characters receive 15 normal Heal Potions; books, starter Gold, and the ShrunkenHorse remain bound.
- Opening a second spell target no longer interrupts the current cast; starting the second cast on a valid target causes the normal fizzle and consumption.
0.35.0 · Masteries, bandages, and skill progression
- PvM Masteries progress through level 20, with diminishing returns after level 10 and up to 95 points to keep five Masteries maximized.
- Successful treatments have a 70% chance to create a Bloody Bandage; failures create none, and adjacent, safely reachable natural water washes the whole stack.
- Clean and Bloody Bandages from the starter kit are ordinary, stackable, and transferable.
- The 49 active skills receive smoother training curves and gradual protection; special carving checks may also grant 0.2 Forensics.
0.34.0 · PvM progression and new Masteries
- The Daily Dungeon now grants 100% extra PvM Mastery XP; the Young bonus and doubled Loot Pack frequency remain stackable.
- Magical-AI creatures now contribute 45% of spawn maximum Hits to Threat, with a 45% combined ceiling; Archer and other combinations retain the 35% ceiling.
- The full Achievements catalogue receives 500 XP for one completed PvM hunt, 300 XP for the first kill in the active Daily Dungeon, and 1,000 XP for each Slayer Group after 150 eligible kills. The eight-step introductory path is unchanged.
- Four PvM melee Masteries arrive: Bloodbound Renewal, Mirrorblade Aegis, Arcane Bastion, and Crimson Wrath, with their own effects, level progression, and PvP/Arena exclusions preserved.
0.33.0 · Starter, Dragon Blood, and PvP equipment
This baseline was incorporated into the 0.34.0 production release.
- Automatic account creation now allows up to 5 accounts per IP; the separate two-connection limit remains unchanged.
- The Starter PvP Iron kit, Spellbook, Runebook, horse, and starting gold are bound to the receiving character and cannot be sold, traded, or transferred through a corpse.
- Rare Britannia now maintains one active wild mount with new families and color variations, while the fixed Llama and Ostard events keep their own Animal Taming requirements.
- True dragons can provide Dragon Blood when carved, with a chance for one extra unit from Forensics; each Dragon Blood Clothing Dye now requires 10 Dragon Bloods.
- Final physical damage between PvP participants has a 40-Hit ceiling after normal absorption; ordinary PvM hits and the other formulas remain outside that limit.
0.32.0 · Hunter contracts and rebalancing
- The physical damage absorption system receives a new rebalance to make the difference between armor tiers clearer and keep weapon damage within a more consistent range.
- The PvM Mastery combat log can also be enabled for Masteries activated through equipped DoB jewelry, including jewelry-only activation.
- Two Hunters near the Britain and Cove banks now offer randomized PvM hunting contracts with a wooden-crate reward.
- The Ettin Hunter achievement now grants one DoB Magic Earring as its reward.
- The Dragon Blood Alchemist service now requires 5 Dragon Bloods instead of 1 for each dye.
- Equip and unequip macros no longer lose actions to a specific 100ms window.
0.31.2 · Introductory progression and PvM bonuses
- Reagent vendors now offer 160 units of each classic reagent in their initial stock.
- The Glassblower no longer duplicates the reagent offer; purchases use one centralized source.
- Players paralyzed with a weapon or shield equipped cannot start Teleport, Recall, or Gate Travel; permitted casts remain interruptible by damage.
- The introductory Achievement path now guides players through eight PvM hunting steps with increasing rewards, unlocking the full catalogue after Ettin Hunter.
- The selected evaluation, identification, and Tracking skills now enforce four seconds between activations; Detect Hidden still completes its search after two seconds.
- The custom Young skill-gain chance bonus increases from 25% to 50%; the independent PvM Mastery XP and Gold bonuses remain unchanged.
- The small areas around the moongates no longer have guards; other travel and Safe Haven rules remain unchanged.
- The Daily Dungeon now grants 50% extra PvM Mastery XP; the Young bonus and doubled Loot Pack rate remain stackable and unchanged.

- New characters start with Sword, Tactics, Archery, Healing, Magery, Meditation, Focus, and Resisting Spells at 100.0.
- Existing characters keep their skills; the compatible migration never lowers saved values.
0.31.0 · Transition to Beta
- The shard is beginning Beta with frequent patches and possible unexpected issues during calibration.
- After Beta, there will be no global reset; the goal is to preserve players' items, gold, XP, and skills.

- Armor and shields now display
Armor Rating: N, calculated from ingot cost, material, and protection tier. - Direct hits against players use global Armor Rating absorption; a shield Parry can reduce the hit to zero with classic feedback.
- Public tier names remain at the classic levels, while Bloodrock, Blackrock, Fire Bow, and Elven Bow thematic lines remain available.
0.26.4 · Weapon animations by type
- Equipped weapons use the animation that matches their type and one-handed or two-handed use, including while mounted.
- The visual correction does not change weapon damage, speed, range, or other properties.
0.26.3 · PvM hit chance by attack skill
- In PvM, Melee and Archery attacks use one linear base curve based on effective attack skill, reaching 75% at 100.0; the relative PvM Mastery bonus is applied separately.
- The same attack skill keeps the same base chance against creatures with different defenses; the PvP formula remains unchanged.
- The Elven Bow is the explicit exception: its +10 Archery may remain effective above 100, reaching 82.5% base PvM chance at 110.0; its +10 Tactics also affects damage above 100.
0.26.2 · Unicode and Patch Notes history
- Fix: the Portuguese Hunter's Compendium, Patch Notes, and Player Options now display accented characters correctly.
- The in-game Patch Notes panel starts at version 0.21.0; earlier history remains preserved internally.

- Fix: special carvings now deliver only their authorized resource; Eyes of Newt and Rare Phoenix no longer release the normal resource set.
- NPCs with Magery above 50.0 may carry Eyes of Newt in death loot and provide them when carved; Forensics adds
ceil((Forensics - 60) / 2)% with no cap. - Total Mana Potion now uses 5 Eyes of Newt, one Bottle, and 65.0–105.0 Alchemy; alchemists outside guarded regions sell Eyes of Newt for 100gp.
- Summoner's Bond redirects part of eligible PvM damage from player-created summons to their summoner while preserving a safe 10-Hit floor.
- A specific Moonglow area in Felucca (

0.24.0 · Dragon Blood, bandages, and Safe Haven
- Moonglow and Serpent's Hold now offer a Dragon Blood Clothing Dye service with materials and a dynamic gold price; the dye uses 150 matching ingots, 1 Dragon Blood, and has one charge.
- The Britain farming strip in Felucca between
X=1130..1261andY=1542..1732has no guards; Trammel is unchanged. - Bandages capture treatment at use: initial poison is immediate, while healing and bleed keep their choice during the delay.
- Classic Jewelry now uses native ten-recipe pages with Next/Prev navigation and correct creation and Details mapping.
- Nujelm Safe Haven now blocks every spellcasting start outside Arena NuJelm's own overlap.
0.23.5 · Bowcraft, jewelry, PvM Mastery, and world
- Fire Feathers carved from a Rare Phoenix can now be used to craft the Fire Bow.
- Fire Bow and Elven Bow enter Bowcraft's DoB Weapons category with dedicated materials, effects, and bonuses.
- Fire Bow's success curve reaches 75% at 100.0 Bowcraft.
- Fire Bow shows only Fireball's impact animation and sound on the target, without a moving fire projectile.
- Weapons crafted through Bowcraft no longer receive combat bonuses derived from the selected wood material; resource identity and the intrinsic Fire Bow and Elven Bow bonuses remain unchanged.
- The new PvM Arcane Disruption Mastery can make an eligible wild creature fizzle when positive direct player damage lands during its cast.
- Tinkering now offers Magic Earrings, Magic Ring, and Magic Bracelet with the Arena jewelry bonuses; new Loot Pack jewelry can receive a PvM Mastery bonus.
- Loot Pack jewelry rolls a +1.00% to +5.00% Mastery bonus in 0.25% increments; equipping it temporarily activates the matching Mastery and shows the bonus in the Compendium.
- Rare Events can produce Desert Ostard, Forest Ostard, and Frenzied Ostard at fixed locations, and Town Criers can share those rumors through Whispers of Britannia.
- Whispers of Britannia now uses a wider gump with more room for rumor text.
- Portuguese Patch Notes now use correct accents.
- Nujelm Safe Haven blocks Fields, Recall, Mark, Gate Travel, and Teleport, as well as skill gain and received damage, outside Arena NuJelm's own rules; the skill restriction also applies to Newcomers.
- Felucca's
A Turnip Field in Britain 2is now unguarded; the equivalent Trammel field remains unchanged. - Felucca receives the seasonal Spring appearance without changing map geometry, resources, or collision.
- An equipped Elven Bow applies +10 Tactics and +10 Archery exactly once, including above the ordinary cap; both return to normal when it is unequipped.
0.23.3 · Hiding/Stealth, gathering, and PvM
- Hiding and Stealth now share concealment: walking consumes a combined limit of up to 25 steps, exhausting the limit reveals the character, and running reveals immediately.
- Entering Hidden through Hiding or Stealth now correctly initializes the limit for the first hidden movement.
- Stealth is no longer blocked or penalized by armor when starting or renewing hidden movement.
- 5x5 area gathering now finalizes correctly for Mining, Lumberjacking, and Fishing, recognizes equipped or backpack Fishing Poles, and retries the current bank after a skillcheck failure while stock remains.
- Fishing Poles show remaining uses, start with 50 uses, break at zero, and can be equipped and used with one double-click.
- The First Trainer Fight achievement completes after a finished PvP Trainer match and grants 200 PvM Mastery XP once.
- Tinkers now sell Hatchet, Pickaxe, and Shovel; Carpenters now sell Fishing Pole as a basic tool.
- Ordinary spellcasting creatures show Words of Power and remain still while casting; the PvP Trainer remains mobile.
- Direct magical damage from eligible wild creatures against players in PvM is reduced by 25%, without changing PvP, poison, pets, summons, or player-owned attacks.
- Positive direct damage dealt by a player to an eligible wild creature in PvM ends Hiding, Stealth, and active invisibility; misses, zero damage, poison ticks, and PvP do not trigger this rule.
0.23.2 · Arena, economy, resistance, and tools
- Arena checks the required gold before preparing a fight, avoiding sessions that cannot start.
