Season of Thorns

In September, Season of Thorns brings Overgrown creatures and seasonal rewards to PvM exploration. Defeat these creatures, collect Heart of the Briar, and visit the Briarheart Keeper in Nujelm Safe Haven to redeem the edition's rewards.

Overgrown creatures

Ettins, Trolls, Frost Trolls, Ogres, Ogre Lords, Cyclopes, and Minotaurs can produce an Overgrown creature after an eligible death. Growing vegetation signals its arrival; not every kill triggers a transformation.

Overgrown still participate in normal PvM systems, including Mastery and hunts. Their loot neither replaces nor duplicates the original creature's loot. Overgrown Grasp can root you for 3 seconds and apply Deadly Poison.

The Ancient Overgrowth variant has a 10% chance to drop the bilingual collectible book O Testamento da Primeira Sarça.

Currency and redemption window

Heart of the Briar is tradable and lootable. A normal Overgrown awards 1 unit; an Ancient awards 3. Currency belongs to its original edition: old currency cannot pay for rewards in a future edition.

The Briarheart Keeper is available during September and for 7 days after the natural end. Redeem your currency within this window. Account limits are shared across characters and reset each edition.
