Classic weapons

Qualities

Offensive qualities follow this order:

Quality Power
Regular Base
Ruin Low
Might Moderate
Force High
Power Very high
Vanquishing Maximum

Special moves remain disabled and do not determine a weapon's poison compatibility.

New or tier-mutated Vanquishing weapons use hue 2483; saved weapons are not migrated.

Practical roles

  • One-handed: allows a shield and combines pressure with defense.
  • Two-handed: trades the shield for greater reach or impact.
  • Archery: ranged combat that requires a brief stop before firing.
  • Macing: may remove stamina together with damage.
  • Poisonable weapons: apply poison while they have charges.
  • Tools: serve their professions and stay outside competitive balance.

Short two-handed weapons based on Fencing or Swords can also receive poison. Macing weapons, Archery, tools, and incompatible long weapons remain unable to do so.

Competitive catalog

The classic catalog below is available to players and may appear in the Loot Pack weapon roll. The table groups weapons that perform the same role; differences in speed and impact remain visible in each item's in-game properties.

Live 0.19.0 thematic lines

Ordinary weapons remain Iron. In Blacksmithy, the DoB Weapons submenu separates the Bloodrock and Blackrock lines; cannons are no longer made there.

  • Bloodrock: Crimson Rite, Blood Vow, Vein Sever, Ritual Conduit, Sanguine Toll, and Crimson Verdict.
  • Blackrock: Dusk Reaver, Nightfang, Gloom Sever, Umbral Conduit, Dark Toll, and Midnight Verdict.
Line Resource Cost Blacksmithy Damage bonus
Bloodrock Bloodrock Ingots 30 ingots 75.0โ€“105.0 +3 at both ends of the damage range
Blackrock Blackrock Ingots 30 ingots 75.0โ€“105.0 +4 at both ends of the damage range

Success is 0% through 75.0, 50% at 92.5, and 100% at 105.0 or higher, using effective Blacksmithy. An ordinary weapon does not switch to a special metal: ordinary recipes still require Iron.

Bowcraft in 0.40.0

Bowcraft now offers two weapons in the DoB Weapons category. The recipes use direct resources, and the bonuses below belong to each weapon:

Weapon Resources Bowcraft curve Intrinsic effect
Fire Bow 30 Fire Feathers and 30 Ash Logs 75% at 100.0 +6 thematic damage and Fireball impact animation/sound, without a moving projectile
Elven Bow 30 Heartwood Logs 0% at 65.0 and 100% at 100.0 Speed 3.00, 7โ€“12 base damage, and +10 Tactics and +10 Archery while equipped

Fire Feathers from a Rare Phoenix work in the Fire Bow recipe. Weapons made through Bowcraft no longer receive combat bonuses derived from the selected wood; the resource still identifies the item, while Fire Bow and Elven Bow keep their intrinsic effects.

In 0.40.0 PvM, the Elven Bow is the explicit exception to skill normalization: its +10 Archery can produce 82.5% base chance at 110.0, and its +10 Tactics continues to affect damage above 100. This exception does not change the PvP formula or create a general skill cap.

Official kits

Arena and the Starter PvP Iron kit share seven choices: Bow, War Mace, Kryss, Bardiche, Black Staff, War Hammer, and Axe. Kryss, Bardiche, and Axe arrive with Deadly Poison; the other four keep their non-poison role.

Not every weapon present in the client circulates among players. The shard catalog prioritizes options compatible with humans and the classic ruleset.
